An explanation of why you chose this event
I watched guitar duo's perfomence. I was intersted in playing guitar, so I was concern about the perfomence. After that, I went to the second floor and see various the music instruments. I felt that some instruments was familiar with me, the other instruments was unfamiliar with me. A person who introduced these the instruments played the traditional Chinese instrument. It was exciting because I watched the instrument in the movie.
Finally, I saw the performence of the Brazil's guitarest. He played the
Brazil's music like smaba and salsa.

Pedro Moraes
Considered one of the most important composers and singers in the new Brazilian Popular Music scenario, Pedro Moraes´ career officially began 10 years ago with an unforseen episode of international acknowledgement. Mexican rising jazz star Magos Herrera, deeply influenced by brazilian classics, brought to wide audiences in her country two songs by Pedro, which led him to a short and successfull tour to Mexico City and New York. Upon returning to Brazil, Pedro became one of the leaders of a generation that´s been breaking grounds in brazilian songwriting, organizing and taking part in several collective projects, such as the “Brotherhood of Free Music”.
Never losing sight of his opus as a composer, Pedro started, in 2003, a very successful parallel career as a samba interpreter, springing from the traditional bohemian neighborhood of Lapa, Rio de Janeiro, to nation-wide touring, mostly with the ensemble “É com esse que eu vou”, with whom he recorded the acclaimed album “Samba do Baú” (the “Treasure-Chest Samba”), dedicated to previously unreleased songs by the greatest masters in the history of this most brazilian genre (Paulinho da Viola, Cartola, Nelson Sargento among others, with some of whom he had the opportunity of sharing vocals on studio and stage).
Since 2007, after recording his first solo album, Claroescuro, Pedro Moraes has been dedicating fully to promoting his music, with an intense schedule of concerts that has included Europe (England, Germany and Spain), Asia (India - Pedro is the first brazilian artist to have his CD released by an Indian label - and Sri Lanka) and some successful touring around Brazil, with outstanding response from audiences and press.

Refelction 2
What is the pop culture? What are the fads, trends, and icon? What does the pop culture connect with these things? Pop means thing that most people like, love, and recognize. Why the pop is important? The most people are influenced by the pop. I can provide examples such as singer, actor, and governor, etc. They are the icon, the star, and the idol. These things symbolize the representation that most people are able to recognize. The pop star or famous people lead us new trend or new vision that people really want. For example, Michael Jackson was lagendary singer in the music area. The reason that he became the legend was that he made people enthusiastically to his own music and dance. He was revered as a king of pop. Michael Jackson realized the power of his affection. So he tried to exert a lot of movements and compaigns. Through his songs, he left the messages that the environmental problem, children's right, human right, and war. Also, he said the hope that we could solve these problems and make better places of the world. He led the people to have the concern with the problems.
There was a person who had the effect on the people in the ancient time, he was a Shakespeare. Why his stories were loved by the most people for a long time? Of course, his stories had dramatic and tragic factors like a fiction, but also, his stories reflected people's life style, thinking, and culture to transcend the time. In hollywood, Shakespeare's stories were made many films which were mirrored modern society now a days.
The fads made me remind my childhood. When I researched the fads, I could find many things to spend the time with my childhood like toys, comic books, cartoons, games, and characters. This was a Aha moment. And I was very glad that I and my classmates were able to share with the fads that remineded my childhood.
I want to say this bumper sticker "Meet my childhood again".
